Under the hood now lists your labelled posts
X's Under the hood report has been live since 18 Sep (piloted from 13 Aug) and already told you if your account carried a reach label. This update (9106e9f) adds a per-post list of which posts got a label, plus a 'How to appeal' section. It shows the label, not why your reach moved.
What I'd do: Open Under the hood, check which posts are listed and appeal any that look wrong. If you want to know why your reach moved, reply or DM @AlgoWatchX for a free check.
sure Sure: the number itself changed in the code. See the code
Ads now placed with a new 'slot spread' method
The ads blender default changed from 'multi_risk' to 'slot_spread', which changes how ads are spaced between posts. It doesn't change your post's score.
What I'd do: Nothing.
sure Sure: the number itself changed in the code. See the code
Video carousel high-risk filter switched on
A filter that removes high-risk videos from the video carousel is now on by default, and the carousel uses a newer video embedding. If your videos are borderline, they may show up less in the carousel.
What I'd do: If you post borderline video, label it properly.
fairly sure Fairly sure: the change is clear, but what it does to reach is my reading. See the code
No main ranking weights changed
Likes, replies, reposts, read time, video and 'not interested' weights are all unchanged. A new reward setting was added at 0 (off).
What I'd do: Nothing.
sure Sure: the number itself changed in the code. See the code
Most people notice changes like this a week later, when their numbers drop.
